So the artworks left over from the show are moving to House of RTS in squamish on cleveland ave. Pink door can't miss it.! Go check them out there, pretty dope little set up.! Also there is three pieces at the Chilli Thom gallery in Function Junction in Whistler...go check out his studio gallery set up there as well. Ok kids thats all for now. I am busy working nights right now, and i will be moving this site to wordpress soon...I will let you know when that is going down.

I am sorry for the lack of posts, it has been a hectic busy week during this festival...I have LOTS of updates after the show and will be regularly posting..so check it out. I'll also have some available prints shown on here after the festival...until then. chow.

STATE OF THE ART

Ok kids, so it's almost here. State of the art during the telus festival. This week long art show takes place in the telus conference center. It starts on the 17th of april with a big opening night with live painting with myself and a few other artists. I will have two pairs of custom painted shoes, original canvases, and framed sketches (for cheap!!), as well as PRINTS....for CHEAP...like 40 dollars cheap. If your broke like me, you now have the option of owning some artwork from me! It's not original, but i can assure you these prints are awesome quality, buy yourself a nice frame and you have yourself some nice wall decorations.!! Anyways, all you kids better be coming to the show...if you can't make it and you would like a print, get in contact with me.

Getting my pieces ready and sorted for 'State of the Art' coming up in whistler during the 2010 telus festival. It will be taking place from the 16th to the 25th of april in the telus conference centers main foyer. Come check it out if your in town, i'll have a fairly good chunk of my art there, and it will all be for sale. I'll also be working a lot throughout the week with white gold snowboards @ the booth next to mine. Here is a sneak peek at one of the new pieces in progress.

Some custom Etnies plus...before these shoes were painted they were one of i believe only a few hundred made. Size twelve purple etnies plus hightops. I would suggest that these never touch the pavement and stay on the shelf. $200

Make sure you look closely at the speech bubble....this was so far one of the most exciting days of my life. The piece is on two pieces of hardwood. They are about 6'x 2' each. Obviously this one is not for sale. :)

Late, Late night truck bomb.

We started at 2:30 and painted until 9:00 in the morning. It was for the CTV morning show during the olympics. We were in a war with the snow gun that decided to keep shooting snow at the side of the truck instead of on the hill...but Stan Matwychuk, Lauren Ritz, and I all had fun...well for the most part.!! Good times.!

Lululemon Whistler live painting session.

So this was the second round of painting for Lululemon, this one was at the whistler location. A few things happened at this event that were awesome, first being the turnout. A lot of people came by to check out this event. Also the interest in the pieces were very high. Third being that stan and myself both sold our pieces. We not only sold them but we sold them to olympic bronze medalist Shannon Bahrke. It's just too bad she is American....(kidding Shannon we love you) Stoked to have our pieces make there new home in the states. Third round of live painting will be at the Whistler location on wednesday the 24th. So if you missed the first one....come and check us out.

A celebration of movement

Last nights party at Lululemon went well, the piece got finished for the party and will stay at the parkroyal store for a month at least. If your at park royal go check it out. It is for sale...so if you like it get a hold of me.! ...it's been a busy couple days, on our way to whistler today for some more live painting at the whistler Lululemon, then live painting for the fire and ice show at the base of the mountiain. So come check us out, and by us i mean Stan Matwychuk and myself. Hopefully after tonight i can finally catch up on a bit of much needed sleep.!

So on friday night i was live painting at Lululemon

at park royal. The opening ceremonies of the olympics was on so the turn out was not huge. But i will be at Lululemon in whistler on wednesday Feb, 17 for another round. Come and check if your in whistler.
